Our Bright Start Program for Ages 2 & 3

Starting Early

We believe that a child who does well from the beginning is more likely to develop a positive attitude and the self-confidence that leads to ongoing success in school.

Bright Beginning’s preschool program for 2 & 3 year olds is a way to build confidence and develop skills for success in school and the future. A critical learning period for all children is the time from birth until they enter kindergarten.

Starting EarlyThe foundation starts in our preschool learning center where children will explore creative arts, problem solving, language and literacy, physical development, and much more. We surround children with age appropriate educational resources and learning tools that promote, learning discovery, and high quality development. Directed by qualified, nurturing staff, children engage in structured activities and receive encouragement to pursue individual interests.

Child Progress and DevelopmentWe value the uniqueness of each child and have developed a preschool program that allows each child to discover the world and build self-esteem. Our programs are designed to stimulate a child's natural curiosity. We encourage parent conferences and have created an effective Developmental Growth Checklist to track each child's individual growth, so we can share the child progress.

An important element of Bright Beginning's program is to provide parents with individualized information about their child. We watch and document progress and development in areas such as:

Large Muscle Development:

> Catching and Throwing

> Walk down stairs with alternating feet

> Run in a straight line

> Pour from a pitcher

> Follow a sequence of holes when lacing
